Beautiful Scenery

Schoharie County is located in the east-central part of New York State about 30 minutes southwest of the Capital Region and about 3 hours from New York City.  An easy drive from just about anywhere, the County is readily accessible from the interstates, but residents and vistors often prefer to travel one of the many other scenic routes.  In addition to the Capital Region, a trip to the historic Cooperstown area, the Mohawk Valley, and the Catskills Region takes less than an hour.

Schoharie County is rural, with a strong agricultural and tourism base.  It covers approximately 600 sq. miles and has a population of just over 31,000.  There are 5 public school districts, and the SUNY Ag & Tech College in Cobleskill offers many varied and interesting degree programs.

The scenic rural setting boasts majestic mountain views, rolling hills, fertile valleys, flowing streams, and quaint historic villages.  Here you'll enjoy the finest in country living -- a rare combination of relaxed lifestyle and an easy commute to New York's Capital Region for metropolitan services and activities.

If you're coming to play, or coming to stay ... you can depend on me to help you find just the right place to call yours.
